Welcome to Monaco monaco fr

Welcome - bienvenue, benvenuti - to Monaco, the jewel of the French Riviera.

A tiny principality with brawn, bling and belle-époque elegance, a microstate with a reigning monarch, Prince Albert II of the House of Grimaldi, a dynasty that came to power in the 13th century and rules with contemporary savvy today. Situated at France’s south-eastern corner near the Italian border, occupying an area of just 2.8 sq. km, Monaco might be the second smallest country in the world (after the Vatican), but what it lacks in size it sure makes up for in attitude and variety.

The Principality of Monaco is the place where everything is possible. A country where Festivals, Gastronomy and Luxurious Hotels are reaching the highest standard and become an Art. Museums are also abundant and you will be able to discover them through your visit.

Boasting an incredible calendar of events, Monaco offers daily surprises from music festivals, greatest ballet performances, orchestras, operas, sporting events, conventions and of course worldwide renowned highlights. Each season, every day, every evening, every night is bringing a special and unique experience.

With over 170 restaurants serving all types of food - from raw food and seafood to fast food and Michelin-starred - finding somewhere to eat is never a problem.

Colourful and with amazing diversity, the Principality of Monaco has the perfect blend of culture, heritage and splendour that will seduce any traveller.

With 300 days of sunshine a year, a chic and relaxed atmosphere, we are inviting you to live the dream: a pleasant and welcoming country, where safety is very high and a warm welcoming is a way of living.

HOW TO GET THERE

You can also travel by Eurostar to Paris, with onward tickets to the South of France and Monaco.
