Day 1
: Arrival at the airport and get your car at our partner’s welcoming desk. Road to Salazie and overnight stay in a hotel or in a guesthouse in Hell-Bourg.

 

Day2: Head to the east cost of the island towards Ste-Rose. Visit the banana farm and have a break at the old lavastreams which cross the road. Overnight stay in a guesthouse in Ste-Rose.

 

Day3: Take the road in the direction of the south. Visit Cap méchant and Manapany les Bains. In the afternoon, enjoy the pleasant smell of the Tea garden’s Labyrinth. Overnight Stay in Petite-île or Grand Coude

 

Day 4: Discover the Volcano and enjoy the pleasure of a hike up the crater. In the late afternoon enjoy a  traditional “rhum arrange”. Overnight stay in the typically creole

village of L’entre-deux

 

Day 5: Visit the west coast of the Island and its black sand beaches, then learn to cook a true and tasty creole lunch. Overnight stay in Le Maïdo or le Tévelave.

 

Day 6: Visit the sugar cane’s museum in St-leu and spend the afternoon discovering the lagoon’s underwater life. Overnight stay in a hotel or a guesthouse in St-Gilles-les-Bains.

 

Day 7: Head back to St-Denis and have a look on the creole houses in the “Rue de Paris” and have a shopping afternoon at the “grand marché”
