Take part in a cooking class at the famous Alain Ducasse Cooking School, which is dedicated to “Art de vivre à la française” and the tradition of fine cuisine before visiting La Veuve Clicquot, where you will enjoy an exclusive visit to the champagne caves and a dinner at St Petersbourg Cave with champagne.
The culinary tour continues to Epernay, where you will delight in Champagne tasting at C-Comme Caves & Champagne Bar, enjoy lunch at La Grillade Gourmande Epernay whose various specialities are based on champagne before finishing with a visit to Champagne Mercier.
Love cooking ... The tour continuing from Burgundy to the gastronomy capital of France, Lyon
After leaving the Champagne district the tour will continue to ancient Beaune in Burgundy to visit its wonderful wine estates and restaurants, stop in the fortified hill top village of Perouges for lunch at Ostellerie de Perouges and then travel on to Lyon where you will spend the final four nights of the tour.
While in Lyon, the Capital of the Gastronomy in France, you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city to include Les Halles de Lyon, the most important indoor market in the city centre with its richess of specialties and food local products, the historical centre of Fourvière and the Renaissance area in Old Lyon.
