Get lucky with Emily

Right now, the idea of Paris may be all we have. But thanks to the series Emily in Paris – one of Netflix’s most-watched in 2020 – audiences were transported to the city from their homes and fell in love with it all over again. The fashion, gastronomy and scenery flooded our screens, giving us a much-needed dose of Parisian ambience. So, in honour of Valentine’s Day (or Galentine’s Day or just because), we’re celebrating the City of Love and giving you the chance to win, thanks to our generous sponsors:

Paris invites you to walk in Emily’s footsteps

Emily is an ambitious twenty-something from Chicago who unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris. But it’s not smooth sailing for Emily, as she navigates challenging cultural differences, relationships and her career. Watch the trailer (External link) .

In the series, we follow Emily’s footsteps as she jogs through the immaculate Luxembourg Gardens (External link) , savours her first pain au chocolat at Boulangerie Moderne and is star-struck at Hôtel Plaza Athénée, an iconic fashion establishment. To top it off, award-winning costume designer Patricia Field provides a constant stream of fashion eye candy.

The romantic comedy is the light relief we needed this year and, given that one of the world’s most popular cities was out of reach for most of us, it’s no wonder it was such a hit.

The setting for the series highlights iconic places, but Paris is much more than that and has plenty to offer those looking for inspiration and places off the beaten track. Discover the hidden gems of Paris HERE. (External link)

If you’ve not watched Emily in Paris, you’re missing out. The bingeable series (and ultimate guilty pleasure), created by Darren Star of Sex and the City fame, is a sensory love letter to Paris.
