- Discover the "Calanche di Piana", a red-tinged massif of porphyry. Seagulls, cormorants and eagles hover above the limpid waters, islets and caves of this UNESCO-listed site and Piana, one of the most beautiful villages in France.
- Raise the sails and head for the Réserve Naturelle de Scandola, another UNESCO World Heritage site. This desert-like peninsula is renowned for its volcanic landscapes, vertiginous cliffs, red rock and pristine creeks. With a little bit of luck, you might even catch a glimpse of a European free-tailed bat, the largest bat in Europe, and even a few dolphins.
- Sail through the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Girolata, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1983, admiring the large red cliffs bordered by typical maquis vegetation.
- Visit the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Fesch, in Ajaccio. Established following the gift of the palace by its owner, Cardinal Joseph Fesch, uncle of Napoleon I, nowadays this fine arts museum houses a Napoleonic collection, plus a section dedicated to major Italian artists.
- Attend a performance of Corsica’s famous polyphonic song, the paghjella, included on UNESCO’s List of Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2009. Both profane and liturgical in nature, the "paghjella" is traditionally sung by three men at a variety of festive, social and religious occasions.
- Discover the prehistoric site of Filitosa, which has existed for the past 8,000 years, and is also a UNESCO-recognised site.
- Explore the historic sites of Cucuruzzu and Capula in the heart of the Alta-Rocca region, the origins of which extend from the Bronze to the Middle Ages.
- Go and discover the cliff top villages of Balagne such as Pigna, Sant’Antonino or Lumio. The inhabitants will be able to reveal to you their history, traditions and culture!
- Make for the Sanguinaires archipelago, comprising four islets of somber red granite located at the entrance to the Gulf of Ajaccio and only accessible by boat.
- Discover the only desert in Europe, the Désert des Agriates, and enjoy a swim on one of the delightful beaches along this stretch of coastline, such as Malfalco or Saleccia.
