Food lovers from all over the world will meet in Lyon from October 8-11, 2020 for the fifth year of the Lyon Street Food Festival. Let France.fr give you a little appetiser.
Now in its fifth year, the Lyon Street Food Festival champions dishes great and small, taking over the old Fagor Brandt factories in the Gerland area. This former industrial site hosts two other major events on the Lyon scene: the Nuits Sonores and the Contemporary Art Biennial.
From October 8-11, 2020, the old Fagor Brandt factories will be transformed into a temple of world cuisine, taking over indoor and outdoor spaces to offer ever more varied experiences for foodies: from Michelin-starred chefs to food trucks and from bars to barbecues.
There’ll be 100 chefs demonstrating over 300 recipes, as well as over 200 participative workshops to get your hands dirty and explore the cultures of the invited destinations. And like any self-respecting festival, it also has a programme of 15 concerts to add evening entertainment.
