Culinary tour of France with Adam Liaw

The tour starts off in style in Paris with a half day sightseeing tour of the city and a welcome dinner at L’Alcazar before continuing to the champagne district of Reims. Take part in a cooking class at the famous Alain Ducasse Cooking School, which is dedicated to “Art de vivre à la française” and the tradition of fine cuisine before visiting La Veuve Clicquot, where you will enjoy an exclusive visit to the champagne caves and dinner at St Petersbourg Cave with champagne. The tour continues to Epernay, where you will delight in Champagne tasting at C-Comme Caves & Champagne Bar, enjoy lunch at La Grillade Gourmande Epernay whose various specialities are based on champagne before finishing with a visit to Champagne Mercier.

After leaving the Champagne district the tour will continue to ancient Beaune (External link) in Burgundy (External link) to visit its wonderful wine estates and restaurants, stop in the fortified hill top village of Perouges for lunch at Ostellerie de Perouges and then travel on to Lyon where you will spend the final four nights of the tour. While in Lyon you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city to include Les Halles de Lyon, the most important indoor market in the city centre, the historical centre of Fourvière and the Renaissance area in Old Lyon. You will also take a full day tour of Beaujolais, including Oingt, which is classified as being one of the most beautiful villages in France and a visit & tasting at Domainehermette.
