Mama Shelter hotels expresses their idea of an unusual, eccentric and unique place to be.
Mama loves Marseille
One thing is for sure at Mama Shelter in Marseille, you’re in the Mediterranean. Order a Bouhka, a Raki, a Pastis or a Gambetta with a side of finely cut Poutargue. These are just some of the delicious ways to escape the turmoil of modern life for a moment and take the time to simply do nothing in this city by the sea. And all the while, Mama will be there for you.
Near the Cours Julien district and its urban art vibe and sunny terraces, and near the Velodrome Stadium and Prado beaches, Mama Shelter’s 125 rooms entirely designed by Philippe Starck spread over six floors, decorated with lively interiors and fitted with 5-star bedding. Cool in the summer, Mama’ll keep warm during the rare cold snaps.
The ground floor quickly sets the tone. Next to the live stage stands a 4-meter long table football game that can be played by 8 to 16 people.
At the restaurant, the long bar and the open kitchen face each other, separated with long tables where you can share generous, homemade meals created by Guy Savoy.
Whether sandy from the beach or exhausted from dancing away the night, Mama’s there for you.
Mama loves Lyon
Known as the capital of gastronomy and where the rivers Rhône and Saône meet, Lyon is the city that has always known how to welcome and take care of its visitors. This philosophy resonated well with Mama, which is why she chose to settle down in the heart of Lyon, so she too can embrace its passerbys.
With 156 sumptuous rooms, fitted with connected TVs, Mama Shelter in Lyon will keep you well-rested for strolls up the La Croix-Rousse or along the renovated riverfronts, feed you delicious meals made with love by chef Guy Savoy, and, for any business meetings you might manage between meals, Mama’s got you covered with Ateliers to get work done when you need them .
In Lyon, we wanted to make a place both of and in the city: with both the comforts of home and the thrill of a city as delicious and lively as this one.
Mama wants what's best for you!
