Bordeaux elegance

Bordeaux is the regional capital, a beautiful 18th century city, often described as "little Paris" by visitors who all fall in love with it. Bordeaux is a multifaceted city ideal to discover as a couple, with family, friends!

  • The capital of the South-West is classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site for its exceptional architectural heritage. The city is an open-air postcard with its many buildings and monuments of the eighteenth century. The city also boasts a modern architectural ensemble such as the Miroir d'eau (the largest in the world), the futuristic Jacques Chaban-Delmas bridge and the Matmut Atlantique stadium.

  • Bordeaux, world capital of wine Bordeaux is close to the largest and oldest fine wine vineyard in the world, which has 65 appellations and covers 112,000 hectares.   • Wine of course! The Bordeaux vineyard is divided into 6 wine regions, which produce red, white, rosé and Crémant wines.

  • The canelé: impossible to stay in Bordeaux without tasting this sweet specialty that has delighted all gourmets for several centuries. This small cake with a crunchy color and a tender heart is made with a dough based on flour, milk, egg, sugar and butter, flavored with rum and vanilla.

  • The Club: Union Bordeaux-Begles: In June 2006, the leaders of Stade Bordelais (Pro D2) and CABBG (Fédérale 1), decided to bring together the two historic Gironde clubs: UBB was born. At the end of the 2014-2015 season, UBB became the 1st public in Europe, with an average of 27,000 fans per match.
