‘C’est La Vie’ watch party and competition

Information on how to enter and ‘prizes’ form part of the Terms and Conditions of Entry.
Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other reference to this competition, these Terms and Conditions prevail.

  1. The Promoter is: FRENCH TOURIST BUREAU PTY LTD (ABN 57 145 096 126) of 25 Bligh Street-level 5, Sydney, NSW 2000. The abovementioned company will be hereafter jointly referred to as the ‘Promoter.’ The partner of this contest is PERNOD RICARD.

2. PRIZE DESCRIPTION AND VALUE

There will be one (1) winner and (1) prize awarded.

3. The prize details:

*- 1 x Vintec 35 Bottle Single Zone Wine Cabinet valued at $1,050 AUD
- 24 x bottles of Pommery Champagne (mix of Cuvee Pommery (70$/bottle) and Heidsieck & Co Monopole (60$/bottle)) Valued at $1,560 AUD

Prize value is recommended retail price and is subject to change. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. This prize is not transferable, not redeemable for cash and may not be combined with any other promotion. The prize is not refundable and cannot be upgraded. The prize winner cannot change, vary or substitute the prize.

  1. To enter and to be eligible to win the prize, Entrants must comply with the following conditions during the Contest Period: The competition commences on 1 October 2020 at 09.00 am Sydney time (AEST) until 20 October 2020 at 11:59pm Sydney time (AEDT). After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

  2. Employees of the Promoter or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.

  3. This promotion will be shared with subscribers to the Atout France newsletter only which have already subscribed and are in the database at the date of sending the enewsletter mentioning the competition “C’est la Vie”. Each registrant will receive a unique link to watch ‘C’est La Vie’ movie and will be asked to enter a competition form on Au.France.Fr. The competition will not be shared anywhere else.

  4. Entry is open to residents of Australia of the following states: New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania and Australian Capital Territory – Canberra only. Due to the legal drinking age, you must be 18 or older to participate into this competition.

  5. Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt and not at the time of transmission. Incomplete, incomprehensible or false entries will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. In case of dispute as to identity of entrant, entry will be deemed to have been made by the registered user of the e-mail account, and if a prize is won, will be awarded to the registered user, if eligible. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation or to be acting in violation of these terms and conditions.

  6. By entering this contest, the entrants may, at their sole discretion, choose to subscribe to the Promoter’s and its partners e-newsletters. In the case the entrant does want to receive information newsletters, they must click the “Enews” box in the entry form and follow the prompts to register.

  7. If an Entrant's contact details change during the Contest Period, the Entrant must promptly notify the Promoter of the relevant change. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be in writing and directed to Promoter.

  8. Entrants may enter only once.

12. DRAW

The winner will be drawn at random on Thursday, October 22nd, 2020 at 12:00pm Sydney time (AEDT) at the Promoter’s premises. The first valid entry drawn will win the prize. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The winner’s name will be announced at the French Tourist Bureau offices, 25 Bligh Street, Level 5, Sydney, NSW, 2000.   1. The Winner will be notified by email within 2 business days of the draw and the Winners will have 3 months to respond with their details to claim the prize. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 3 months of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The prize will be delivered via a courier company to an Australian address only. Should the prize remain unclaimed, another prize draw will take place on January 21st, 2021 at 12:00pm Sydney time (AEDT) at the Promoter’s premises. The winner will be notified by email within 2 business days of the draw. The winner’s name will be announced at the French Tourist Bureau offices, 25 Bligh Street, Level 5, Sydney, NSW, 2000. Phone: 02 9210 5400 and published on au.france.fr on the 25th of January 2021.

  2. The draw results will be published at https://au.france.fr/en within two business days after the draw date/s for 28 days. The prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State and Territory legislation. Cash will not necessarily be awarded as a substitute. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and prize supplier's requirements. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.

  3. Each winner must consent to the use of their name (including posting first name and last initial) and/or photo for promotional purposes and media editorial requests regarding this contest, without compensation. Their name will be posted on https://au.france.fr/en after the prize is awarded. This information may not be published elsewhere without the written permission of the Winner.

  4. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

  5. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions subject to written directions from the relevant regulatory authorities, in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.

  6. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

  7. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Australian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
