The Parisian department store celebrates French creation from July 5 to August 31 with the most emblematic brands, personalities and collectives in fashion, beauty, home and kitchen. The French Touch will be on the Boulevard Haussmann in Paris, where the Galeries Lafayette will celebrate the rebirth of French creation, in partnership with Visit Paris Region and Atout France , France's tourism promotion agency.
French music, film and technology
Renowned artists and young labels from the French scene will perform all summer long as part of a unique cultural program on the store's panoramic terrace. View on all Paris in bonuses...
Every evening from July 5 to 10, live concerts will follow, film screenings at nightfall (La Boum, Le Sens de la fête or Zazie dans le métro), to end on the dance floor with a DJ set! Sofiane Pamart, Etienne de Crécy, Bon Entendeur, Kiddy Smile, Pedtro Winter, Julien Granel, Dabeuil, Rad Cartier and many others... An energetic, rich and eclectic French Touch.

During this event, design is also invited to the Galeries Lafayette, embodied by the talented duo Gaëlle Gabillet and Stéphane Villard from Studio GGSV. They have been given free rein to take over three areas of the department store, the windows, the Coupole and the grand historical staircases, where a misleading painting will be displayed. Regular shoppers and newcomers to Paris's temple of shopping will be in for a treat!
For more than 125 years, the department store has revealed the singularity and abundance of French creativity. For this event, the store is exploring digital fashion in collaboration with EgonLab, whose summer 2023 collection is a preview. Get ready: a surprising and immersive contest allows you to win 3 of the brand's key pieces.
Young French designers will be represented by Nodaleto, Casablanca, Y/Projet x JP Gauthier, Martin Martin, Magali Pascal ou d'Estrëe... Not to mention the Galeries Lafayette brand itself, which revisits French textile knowledge through its capsules produced in France according to responsible processes labeled Go for Good. Since September 2021, the store has a new space dedicated to circular fashion. On the beauty side, new brands embody a holistic vision. We love it!
Unique animations and pop-up stores will also be proposed by beautiful houses such as Patou and institutions such as The IFM (French Institute of Fashion), the Centre des Monuments Nationaux and... Martine, the children's book character, who ventures into the store.
Crypto art and NFTs
When it comes to creation, the tradition meets the innovation: an exhibition of crypto art curated by the OBVIOUS collective questions about the links between art and artificial intelligence and brings together several French pioneering artists in the field of NFTs.
