Inès de la Fressange, fashion and design icon from Paris to Provence

Model, muse, creator, ambassador to the great fashion houses—Inès de la Fressange embodies the spontaneity and freshness of iconic French style. After writing many pieces on the style of Parisians, she became interested in the style of their apartments with the release of her book "Sous les toits de Paris" ("Under the roofs of Paris").

She's the incarnation of a Parisian woman—Inès de la Fressange, former model turned fashion designer and author. She began her career as a model at age 17, walking for big names like Christian Dior, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Yves Saint-Laurent before become Karl Lagerfeld's muse and the ambassador for the house of Chanel.

Inspired by fashion and the designers, she decided to create her own brand “Inès de la Fressange Paris," of which she is the artistic director today. Inès de la Fressange also collaborated with the shoe brand Roger Vivier, which she helped relaunch and of which she is an ambassador.

...and in Provence

Even if she incarnates Parisian style, she's no less a child of her native South of France. Born in Saint-Tropez, on the Côte d’Azur, she takes her summer getaway each yeaer in Tarascon, in Provence. Her summer home is decorated in her image: simple, chic and elegant. Inès takes advantage of this time in the south to discover the surrounding areas, from Sommières to the village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert and from Arles to Avignon. She's always hunting for the best spots to share in her weekly online newsletter Lettre d'Inès (Inès' Letter), a treasure trove of info.
