Taste of Paris 2017 at the Grand Palais in Paris

The gastronomic festival, Taste of Paris, scheduled from 18 to 21 May 2017, returns to the Grand Palais for its 3rd edition.

Soon an unmissable for Parisian gourmets

Since 2015, Taste of Paris wants to be the reference in the festival of gastronomy in France. Fork in hand the 30,000 visitors expected this year will be able to discover or rediscover the gastronomy of the great restaurants or tables in view, not always accessible to all.

Moment of exchange and interaction between young ambassadors of the bistronomy, star-studded chefs, virtuoso pastry chefs or producers, artisans emeritus and the general public eager to taste everything ... or almost!

On the menu, a new casting of prestigious chefs feasting gourmets in ephemeral restaurants but also workshops and demonstrations, a farmers market and above all, a bright guest: spring!

Always more chefs

This year, the casting is expanded with a total of 19 guests in the kitchen. They will offer more than 70 signature dishes or compositions created for the occasion.

Among them, icons of Taste of Paris, those faithful who built the success of the festival and that the public enjoys to find; Guy Savoy, Thierry Marx, Frédéric Anton, Romain Meder, Stéphanie Le Quellec, Nicolas Beaumann, Juan Arbelaez, Kei Kobayashi and Pierre Sang Boyer.

At their side, new leaders, and not least, accepted to take up the challenge. Julia Sedefdjian (The Fables of the Fountain), Sylvestre Wahid (Thoumieux), Yoshitaka Takayanagi (L'Agape), Tomy Gousset (Tomy & Co) represent the new Parisian scene, energetic and multicultural.

The festival will also welcome Philippe Labbé, who has just arrived at the head of the cuisines of the illustrious Tour d'Argent, as well as Grégory Marchand (Frenchie), perfect incarnation of the dynamism of gastronomy in Paris.

Amandine Chaignot (Rosewood London), William Ledeuil (Ze Kitchen Galerie) and Jean-Baptise Lavergne (La Table du 11), three former students of the prestigious FERRANDI Paris School, will succeed each other in the eponymous pop-up restaurant Will see his casting change daily.

And finally, a touch of sweetness, with the presence of two great pastry chefs, Guy Krenzer (Maison Lenôtre) and Christophe Adam (L'Éclair de Génie).

A spring festival

You will recover a little vivacity, freshness and lightness?

For this 3rd edition, the festival Taste of Paris returns to its first loves and crowns the spring, blessed season of the chiefs. Each of them will highlight its key ingredient (s) of this season. So the public will discover unexpected and delectable seasonal flavors.

Nice days, the huge glass roof of the Grand Palais will bathe the magical atmosphere of the event and will reveal, during dinner time, the gentleness of the Parisian evenings.

For the pleasure of the taste buds

Installed in the hollow of the nave of the Grand Palais, 19 ephemeral restaurants will each welcome a chef, whether he is a great star or young talent of tomorrow. This last one will melt intake, dish and dessert proposed between 5 € and 12 €.Un marché de très bon goût sèmera par ailleurs ses stands sur 1 000 m2.

A hundred producers and artisans come to display their wonders, which the visitor will be able to discover before making his shopping. The table d'hôtes of the Club Taste, meanwhile, will deliver an exceptional menu fashioned by the chefs of the festival during each session of the lunch and the evening.

And to drink all this?

Laurent-Perrier, the Petit Ballon wine bar and the Cellier des Dolphins wine cellar, Heineken and Badoit will be in charge of accompanying the culinary compositions of the chefs for the pleasure of lovers of good gastronomy.

Cooking classes for young and old

Electrolux will once again welcome festival attendees to attend enriching masterclasses and take part in exclusive cooking classes at Taste of Paris. The biggest Chefs will give themselves to heart to make salivate and ignite the public on the Theater of the Chefs and will pass on their unique know-how on the workshop Secrets of the Chefs. The kitchen is also lived from an early age. During Taste of Paris, the dear blond heads will have enough to bring to the dough with cooking animations designed especially for them.
