A fresh look for ParisLongchamp

After a two-year long update, the racecourse in the west of Paris unveiled a new look in spring 2018, breaking with the traditional codes of conventional racecourses.

Inspired by the movement and line of a galloping thoroughbred, architect Dominique Perrault designed a viewing platform, a 160m long glass building, playing with transparency and perspective.

Autumn hues

The colour of the sloping building is suggestive of autumn hues, the season in which one of the most prestigious horse shows is held, the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.

Competition

To celebrate its reopening, the racecourse will host 34 race days in 2018, from April 8 to October 30, including the famous Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, October 6 and 7.

Gastronomy is at the heart of the new ParisLongchamp with Brasserie Longchamp as well as The Panorama with its 500m₂ rooftop, and kitchens under the leadership of internationally renowned chef Jean Imbert. Open only on race days.

Night time races

With the new look comes a new appointment, the "Jeuxdi by Longchamp", let the games begin - twilight races on Thursday nights in a festive and musical atmosphere.

Guinguette

The racecourse of ParisLongchamp sports a village vibe in the centre of Paris thanks to Petit Pré, the third restaurant on the site with a laidback country air.

The racecourse also hosts "Summer Stage by Longchamp", an open-air concert venue with a capacity for 3,000 people, presenting popular festivals such as Solidays and Lollapalooza.
